Waheed
Waheed joined the laboratory as a Doctoral Researcher in 2026 at the Central University of Kashmir. He holds a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from the University of Kashmir, bringing a solid foundation in nanoscale synthesis and material characterization. His doctoral investigations center on the rational design, micro/nanofabrication, and advanced surface functionalization of nanoscale platforms to engineer high-performance sensors with enhanced sensitivity and selectivity. Through this work, he aims to translate novel functional nanomaterials into robust technologies for healthcare diagnostics and environmental monitoring.

Qurat ul Haq
Qurat ul Haq is an undergraduate Biotechnology student at the Central University of Kashmir, with a strong interest in nanobiotechnology, molecular biology, and interdisciplinary scientific research. Her current research work focuses on the synthesis of single-atom catalyst carbon quantum dots using a walnut-derived precursor. She is driven by a passion for exploring innovative technologies, enhancing experimental expertise, and contributing to impactful research at the convergence of biotechnology, nanoscience, and advanced materials.
Mahi Pawar
Mahi Pawar is an undergraduate Biotechnology student with a strong interest in molecular biology, nanobiotechnology, and applying biotechnology to real-world challenges. Her current research focuses on carbon quantum dots (CQDs), exploring their properties and potential applications in biotechnology and related fields. She is particularly interested in developing innovative, practical solutions at the intersection of biotechnology and nanotechnology.
Tahir Ahmad Bijran
Tahir Ahmad Bijran is an undergraduate Biotechnology student at the Central University of Kashmir with a keen interest in nanobiotechnology, molecular biology, and computational tools. In the laboratory, his current work focuses on walnut biomass valorization, processing techniques, and foundational computational workflows. He is deeply committed to honing practical experimental skill sets, exploring emerging technologies, and contributing to innovative multidisciplinary research bridging nanoscience and biotechnology.
